ChamSys flight cases are carefully designed to ensure maximum protection for ChamSys products, increasing the life and maintaining the value.
ChamSys flight cases are premium cases that:
- Use high quality foam, cut using high precision C&C to ensure that the ChamSys products fit snuggly and moving parts such as buttons, faders, encoders and displays have maximum protection.
- Use high quality tough laminate giving superior resistance to knocks and bumps.
- Are designed with extra room underneath the products for storing accessories and cables - helping to prevent damage to the main product control surface.
- Use 6 rivet corners, 4 rivet braces for maximum strength.
- Use quality butterfly catches and case handles.
- Have custom cut outs in the foam for the working lights.
- Use ChamSys branding - colour and logo.
ChamSys flight cases are manufactured in the UK by BCS Manufacturing using C&C precision machining.
Please note that flight case manufacturers may advertise lower cost flight cases for ChamSys products - particularly DJ cases made from cheap PVC, with low cost components, and using generic case sizes.
Please be aware of the differences - our experience from repairing ChamSys products that have been in these types of cases suggest that they do not provide the same protection as ChamSys flight cases.

The GLP impression X5 IP Maxx delivers an extraordinary luminous flux of up to 21,000 lumens, with an expanded colour space, from 37 powerful 40-watt RGBL LEDs.
Equipped with the new iQ.Gamut colour algorithm, the impression X5 IP Maxx generates a clean white point with a CRI 86 / TLCI 88+ at 6,500 Kelvin. It also offers the option of quickly switching to other fixed colour temperatures, all of which are precisely calibrated to the colour temperature curve, while still offering a colour quality of CRI 84+ / TLCI 74 even with warm white light of 3,200 Kelvin.
With the new 19:1 zoom mechanism, the impression X5 IP Maxx delivers up to 3.56 Mcd light intensity, a penetrating 3.3° parallel beam and up to 66° homogeneous wash light. The new, circular lens design offers a modern look, while additional fantastic looks can be generated using individual pixel control with pixel mapping and integrated dynamic pattern effects.
The impression X5 IP Maxx comes with an extensive feature and effects package, including a virtual colour wheel with access to 64 colours from the LEE filter palette, new colour quality control, magenta/green correction, a tungsten simulation and effects channel and a 2-layer effect option.
Thanks to the IP65 certification, the fixture can be used both indoors and outdoors in any weather. The compact design, with a weight of < 30 kg, is designed for easily installation in standard pre-rig truss systems.
The impression X5 IP Maxx can be controlled via DMX, ArtNet, sACN and LumenRadio CRMX. It also has NFC and the iQ.Mesh module for convenient configuration via the GLP iQ.Service app.
