KMD-7 is a complete drum microphone pack from our KMD Series, designed to deliver clear, punchy and controlled capture of acoustic drum kits in both live and home studio environments.
The set includes two KM3 condensers, one KM4 dynamic mic, and four KM5 dynamic mics, each optimised for specific drum elements—from cymbals and overheads to snare and toms. With a mix of cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns, the KM Series provides excellent off-axis rejection and high gain-before-feedback, ensuring focused, articulate sound even on loud stages.
All microphones feature rugged cast zinc alloy bodies, dent-resistant steel grilles, neodymium magnets (except KM3), and gold-plated XLR connectors for durability and signal integrity.
Supplied in a durable carry case for easy transport and protection, KMD-7 offers a reliable one-stop solution for drummers, engineers and producers who need professional drum miking straight out of the box.
